A Blackstone Ham and Turkey Sub can be made in minutes and is a warm and hardy meal. Nothing beats a simple and delicious ham and turkey sandwich topped with melting cheese. A twist on a basic lunchmeat sandwich that is loved by many. Easily customizable to make it all your own. Use your favorite sliced deli ham and turkey along with your favorite cheese to melt over the top. This turkey and ham sandwich has the addition of sautéed fresh mushrooms and is topped with a couple pieces of lettuce and a squirt of mayo. My family has dubbed this my “best sub sandwich” ever!! Don’t like ham? Double up on the turkey or substitute another deli meat favorite. Turkey meat is lean and carries a higher nutritional value than any deli meat.

How to Make a Blackstone Ham and Turkey Sub
Gather the ingredients to make your ham and turkey sandwich. Preheat the Blackstone Griddle to low medium temperature. For one sub sandwich recipe you will want 2 slices of turkey and 2 slices of ham. Place on a cutting board or mat and cut into small pieces. If using other add-ins such as fresh mushrooms, onion, or peppers, make sure to dice them up into small pieces so that they cook up very quickly. Once the griddle is hot, very lightly oil the flat top to prevent your food from sticking. Place your turkey and ham deli meat pieces onto one section of the hot griddle. If using other ingredients for your sandwich, place them on a different section of the hot flat top griddle. Let cook and use a dome lid if needed. Heat and toast the sub bun by placing it so the cut side is down on the hot flat top. With a griddle spatula, flip the ham, turkey, and mushrooms to get a nice golden-brown color. Combine all ingredients on the griddle and top with your cheese. Cover with a dome lid to help the cheese melt.
How to Serve Turkey Ham Sandwich
Carefully scoop up the melted cheese topped ham and turkey pieces with a griddle spatula and set into the toasty warm sub bun. Top with your favorite condiments and serve with your favorite side dishes. I like to add a couple pieces of lettuce and an even layer of mayo. A dill pickle spear and a handful of potato chips make a great side option to go along with your best sub sandwich recipe.
