This is My take on a southern slaw dog or slaw dog as people call them. This slaw dog recipe was amazing and 1 One of many awesome hot dog recipes and Blackstone griddle recipes! This is by far my favorite hot dog recipe I have made on the griddle. Super easy to make and the cook was only about 10 minutes. Start off with searing the veggies and cooking up the ground beef. Then combine the two and add the sloppy Joe sauce. Then cook up your Nathan’s all beef hotdogs and you are good to go. I did make my own coleslaw that was not on film but the recipe is below. I know a lot of people will say I should have used chili instead of the sloppy Joe but the WALTWINS just posted an awesome chili dog video so I thought I would switch it up!
Hot dog buns
Nathan’s all beef hot dogs
1lb ground beef
1/2 red bell pepper diced
1/2 red onion diced
1 Serrano pepper diced
1 can Sloppy Joe sauce
1 8oz bag coleslaw
1-1/4 cup dukes mayonnaise
1/3 cup + 1 tbsp half and half
1-1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1-1/2 tsp garlic powder
1-1/2 tsp onion powder
1-1/2 tsp creole seasoning
Mix very well and add to coleslaw. I never use all the sauce. No swimming coleslaw for me.
