Country Gravy Recipe | Camp Chef

Gravy goes great on everything! While traditionally found on biscuits, you can smother this southern delicacy on potatoes, meats – whatever. Start with a fat source like bacon grease or butter. Slowly add flour and then milk. As the temperature rises the gravy mixture will thicken. Continue to thicken by eliminating clumps and stirring/scraping. During this stage add course ground pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (optional.) Finally, dump the browned sausage in your gravy mixture and stir. Serve over warm flaky baked biscuits, and enjoy! – Chef Jack
