Beef and Veggie Kebabs on the Big Green Egg by way of the Blackstone

This was certainly not my day. Ran out of gas on the Blackstone so I had to move over to the Big Green Egg. A few other mishaps too.

These kebabs, I have done a few times. I also like to sous vide them before for a few hours for more tender chew.

Recipe:

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice from 1 lemon
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon honey (or brown sugar) – You can omit for your diet and add other sweetener.
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
2 pounds beef sirloin tips, cut into cubes
Various bell peppers
1 large onion, sliced into 1 1/2-inch cubes (about 3 onion layers each)
1 zucchini
1 squash

Steps:

1 – Add and wisk olive oil, worcestershire, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, brown sugar, and black pepper. Add to bag with cubed sirloin. Marinade for 1-5 hrs.

2 – Skewer meat and veggies to your liking. I like to do veggies and meat separately.

3 – Grill or griddle to your desired doneness over direct flame (grill) or high to med/high on the Blackstone.
